Meet Geneva

Geneva's love for the Word of God is the only thing she loves more than her family and the ministry call.  Geneva serves as Pastor of The Way Community Church where she is in ministry with her husband Stefan.  They are blessed to be a blended family of 3 sons, 1 daughter, 2 daughters in love and 1 son in love, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.  Pastor G, as she is affectionately called, has served as a worship leader, trainer and facilitator for over 40 years and was called into the preaching ministry in 2000 and ordained as an Elder in 2005.

Geneva received her Certificate in Religious Studies in May 2015 from the University of Cincinnati and in April 2017 she became the first person at UC to receive the Certificate in Biblical Studies in the department of Judaic Studies College of Arts & Sciences.

Geneva is a past recipient of the WIZF Radio-Provident Bank Unsung Hero Award, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Keeping the Dream Alive Scholarship Award and was named a 2014 Cincinnati Icons and Legends Award recipient in Gospel Music.  She has served on multiple local boards and is a staunch advocate for children's issues and equitable healthcare access.  Geneva has presented extensively in the Cincinnati area and across the country training, encouraging and buiding up Kingdom people for Kingdom work in areas of Leadership Development, Discipleship, Marriage Enrichment, Women's Development and Church Planting.
